Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
Togoro helps you find people nearby who want to do the same thing — coffee, a walk, a game, a show. Togoro is run by Dirty Ninja LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Togoro you agree to these terms, including the Community Guidelines below, and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Togoro
- You must be 18 or older.
- Use your real first name and your real date of birth. One account per person.
- You can’t use Togoro if we’ve removed you before, or if the law doesn’t allow you to.
2. What Togoro is — and isn’t
- Togoro is a tool for finding company for an activity. It isn’t a dating service.
- We don’t organize, supervise or attend plans. Hosts and guests decide who joins and how the plan goes.
- We confirm your email address. We don’t run background checks or verify identities, ages or anything else people say about themselves.
- A MeetCode helps people in the same plan recognise each other. It isn’t an identity check — everyone going knows it.
- Ratings come from people who were in the same plan. They’re opinions, not a guarantee of anyone’s behavior.
3. Your safety
You’re responsible for your own safety when you meet people. Meet in public places, tell someone where you’re going, get there on your own and leave whenever you want. If you’re in danger, call 911 first. Then tell us — report the person or plan in the app, or write to hello@togoro.app.
4. Community Guidelines
- Be who you are. Real name, real photo of you, real age. No impersonation.
- Plans are about the activity. Don’t use Togoro to look for dates or hookups, and don’t pursue anyone who isn’t interested.
- Show up — or say so. If you can’t make it, leave the plan so someone else can take your spot.
- Meet in public. Every plan starts in a public place. Don’t pressure anyone to go somewhere private.
- No harassment. No threats, hate, bullying, sexual comments or unwanted contact — in chat or in person.
- No selling. No ads, spam, recruiting, fundraising or paid events disguised as plans.
- Nothing illegal or dangerous. No drugs, weapons, or plans that put people at risk.
- Respect privacy. Don’t share other people’s personal details, photos or chats without their permission.
5. Your content
You own what you post — your profile, photo, plans and messages. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people the app shows it to, and use it to run and keep Togoro safe. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons (see the Privacy Policy). Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share.
6. Reports and enforcement
Anyone can report a person or a plan. A person on our team reads every report. We may remove content, cancel plans, limit or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk — with or without notice. If you think we got it wrong, write to hello@togoro.app.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Account. We can suspend or close accounts as described above.
8. Disclaimers
Togoro is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always work, be error-free, or that any plan will happen. We aren’t responsible for what people do or say, on Togoro or when you meet them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dirty Ninja LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for anything arising from your meetings with other people. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used Togoro or broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, to the extent the law allows.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Togoro after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in New York County, New York.
